Service Description
Welcome to our somatic healing yoga class, where we embark on a journey to nurture and heal both body and mind. In this class, we focus on restoring balance to the vagus nerve, the key regulator of our parasympathetic nervous system, which governs our body's rest and relaxation response. Through a series of gentle yet profound yoga poses and movements, we will guide our attention inward, allowing for the release of tension and the unraveling of trauma stored within the body. Each movement is a deliberate act of self-care, fostering a sense of safety and trust in our own bodies. As we flow through the practice, we cultivate mindfulness and deep awareness of sensation, inviting the body to let go of any lingering stress or discomfort. With each breath, we create space for healing and renewal, allowing the body's innate wisdom to guide us towards wholeness. And as we reach the culmination of our practice, we transition into an extended savasana, a sacred space of deep relaxation and surrender. Here, we invite the soothing vibrations of Tibetan sound bowls to envelop us, harmonizing our energy and promoting a profound sense of inner peace. Join us in this transformative journey of somatic healing, where we honor the body as a vessel of wisdom and resilience, and embrace the power of self-love and compassion.
